detroit 2018
On August 31, my family and I began our trip to Niagara Falls in Ontario. On the way, we took a day to stop and see the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, MI. This museum has three parts to it: The Ford Rouge Factory, the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, and Greenfield Village. We visited all three parts of the museum. The Rouge Factory is where you can watch the process of building a variety of Ford vehicles (you can't take photos here). The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation has many beautiful artifacts from American history. The Greenfield Village has an early 1900's vibe to it, with horse-drawn carriages, ice cream parlors, and train rides. The entire experience was amazing, and I would definitely recommend visiting all three sections of the museum, if you are given the chance. After the museum, we made a stop for dinner and did some driving around Detroit before hopping on the Ambassador Bridge to make our way into Canada.
